Who the course is for:     All Year 11 children who are approaching their GCSE/iGCSE exams in 2023.

Course details:          

Creative Writing – planning, structure, descriptive tools, atmosphere. What are the examiners looking for?

Reading a text with insight, use of language, structure of responses and making critical evaluations. How to make comparisons of two sources and useful language for comparative essays.

Transactional Writing – use of ‘PALS’. Structure of written piece, correct features and language for the genre e.g persuasive language fora speech. Plan own piece to question given.
